Message wanted ad, and he replied that he was willing to ship the injectors first, give me a tracking number, then ask me to use Western Union and send him the money after he shipped, but since I'm so "untrusting", maybe "there's no need for us to go through with the transaction", if it were legit, all he had to do was give me his screen name, I don't see why an honest seller would be insulted by that. Is there a way for the admin here to prevent non-members from seeing the text of a posted classifieds message (and get the person's email, name and other information), unless they can log in first? I don't think it's that dangerous even if they get that info, but why let them if even that can be prevented. I tried to look at my own message without logging in, and was able to see my phone number, full name and email address. I understand they can't really do anything with just that information, but there would be less of a chance for anyone to even get caught in a scam if those people couldn't get that information, like one's email address, without being a member or logging in. Now that I think about it, it really was a scam, all the signs were there, the guy told me first $220 for one injector, when I complained about it being more expensive than a new from the dealer, he said he made a mistake, it was the price for 2, not one. He had no idea what he really was talking about at first. Then he went as far as calling me to tell me that he wanted to help and wanted to talk to me personally to have satisfied customers. He was really adamant about getting my full name and address, but I didn't give him my address and asked here instead to verify. If we require members to log in to see classified ads here, then people like that won't even get our names or phone numbers either, even though that is not a big deal anyway. They'll probably think twice before becoming a member since they have to provide their own info to become a member. Just a thought from my point of view, if there is a better way to stop people like this, I'm open to thoughts too.

Thanks
